Channel steel is mainly used in building structure, vehicle manufacturing, other industrial structures and fixed panels and cabinets. Channel steel is often used together with I-beam.
Channel steel can be divided into four types according to shape: cold-formed equal edge channel steel, cold-formed unequal edge channel steel, cold-formed inner crimping channel steel and cold-formed outer crimping channel steel.
