Galvanized sheet refers to the steel plate with a layer of zinc on the surface. Galvanizing is an economic and effective rust prevention method often used. About half of the world’s zinc production is used in this process.
Galvanized pipe, also known as galvanized steel pipe, is divided into hot-dip galvanizing and electro galvanizing. The hot-dip galvanizing layer is thick and has the advantages of uniform coating, strong adhesion and long service life. The cost of electro galvanizing is low, the surface is not very smooth, and its corrosion resistance is much worse than that of hot-dip galvanized pipe.
Galvanizing refers to the surface treatment technology of plating a layer of zinc on the surface of metal, alloy or other materials for beauty and rust prevention. The main method is hot galvanizing.
Zinc is easily soluble in acid and alkali, so it is called amphoteric metal. Zinc hardly changes in dry air. In humid air, a dense basic zinc carbonate film will be formed on the zinc surface. In the atmosphere containing sulfur dioxide, hydrogen sulfide and marine atmosphere, the corrosion resistance of zinc is poor, especially in the atmosphere containing organic acid at high temperature and humidity, the zinc coating is very easy to be corroded. The standard electrode potential of zinc is -0.76v. For steel substrate, zinc coating belongs to anodic coating. It is mainly used to prevent the corrosion of steel. Its protective performance is closely related to the coating thickness. The protective and decorative properties of zinc coating can be significantly improved after passivation, dyeing or coating with light protective agent
The checkered plate has many advantages, such as beautiful appearance, anti-skid, enhanced performance, steel saving and so on. It is widely used in transportation, architecture, decoration, bottom plate around equipment, machinery, shipbuilding and other fields. Generally speaking, the user does not have high requirements for the mechanical properties and mechanical properties of the checkered plate, so the quality of the checkered plate is mainly reflected in the pattern flower rate, pattern height and pattern height difference. The commonly used thickness on the market ranges from 2.0-8mm, and the common width is 1250 and 1500mm.
Galvanized steel plate is a welded steel plate with hot-dip or electro galvanized coating on the surface. It is generally widely used in construction, household appliances, vehicles and ships, container manufacturing, electromechanical industry and so on.
Galvanized seamless steel pipe is hot-dip galvanized, so the amount of zinc plating is very high, the average thickness of zinc coating is more than 65 microns, and its corrosion resistance is much different than that of hot-dip galvanized pipe. The regular galvanized pipe manufacturer can use cold galvanized pipe as water and gas pipe. The zinc coating of cold galvanized steel pipe is electroplated layer, and the zinc layer is separated from the steel pipe substrate. The zinc layer is thin and easy to fall off because it is attached to the steel pipe substrate. Therefore, its corrosion resistance is poor. It is forbidden to use cold galvanized steel pipe as water supply steel pipe in new residential buildings.
